Reed Further Education are always recruiting for Learning Support Assistants to join their team.

Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Pay rate: £12 - £14 per hour
Hours/days: 20 hours per week over 4 days. Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri.
Duration: Permanent

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and creative learning to meet the needs of the learner including those with barriers to learning. This could be a blend of remote, classroom, 121 or on site.
  • Motivate, enable and drive learners to achieve their goals through outstanding teaching and learning.
  • Deliver and facilitate teaching, learning and support that encourages accelerated and autonomous learning.
  • Deliver a consistently high standard of performance - quality driven.

  • Deliver learning and evidence progression to meet the targets set for the learner to enable learners to meet or exceed their goals

What you will need?:

  • Good standard of general education including 5 GCSEs - English and Maths at grade C or above or equivalent.
  • AET (Level 3) or an equivalent Teaching/Training qualification or willing to work towards.
  • Understanding of EHC Plans and Annual Review process.
  • Experience of and a proven track record of working with learners with SEND.
