ASEND are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Dyslexia Specialist Teacher to join the team at a secondary school in Orpington, Bromley for one or two days a week.

In this role, you will work with pupils either on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Your expertise and understanding of Dyslexia will be invaluable as you empower our students to overcome their challenges and reach their full potential.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong understanding of Dyslexia. You should also have experience working with students with Dyslexia, ideally in a school setting.

The right candidate will also have a Level 7 SpLD Qualification, though an experienced and skilled Dyslexia teacher with a Level 5 qualification would also be considered. You will need to be able to plan and work independently whilst also enjoying collaborative work with colleagues. You will also be an excellent communicator and have a passion for improving outcomes for students with Dyslexia and other literacy difficulties.
