Academics, a leading education recruitment agency, are looking for an unqualified teaching assistant for a lovely SEN school in Erdington.The successful applicant will work within a team supporting students both in the classroom and during play and enrichment time. Being an unqualified teaching assistant within Erdington can be a rewarding career to have!

The candidate must have the following to be considered for this role:

• Previous experience working with SEN children
• Previous experience in working within a school setting
• Qualification is not required
• A Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service - if you do not have a DBS registered online Academics Ltd will provide full assistance in getting you one.

The pay will be between (£75.95 - £90.00) a day and will be on either a full time or part time basis for the role of an unqualified teaching assistant.

The role will involve:

• Implementing planned learning programs agreed with the teacher.

• Fulfilling the role of a unqualified teaching assistant.

• Understand and support independent learning within an Erdington school.

• Track and monitor student targets and EHCP outcomes.
• You will be expected to support the teaching and learning by working under the class teacher's guidance to deliver material and interventions.
• Demonstrate positive attitudes, values and behaviours consistent with the role and in line with the expectations
• Maintain the classroom and equipment in a safe and tidy condition within an Erdington classroom.
