Public Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on a Business Services Assistant/ Semi Senior opportunity with a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Stockton-on-Tees.

Ideal for an AAT 3/4 Qualified and/ or ACA/ ACCA student working in practice seeking to advance their career in a supportive team environment with an excellent work-life balance.

You will be working with a diverse client base from an array of industry sectors with a focus on SMEs and OMBs, covering accounts preparation, bookkeeping and tax.

The Role:

Preparation of accounts for sole traders, limited companies and partnerships
Management accounts preparation
Preparation of tax computations (personal and corporate)
VAT Returns
Client bookkeeping
Dealing with HMRC/ client queries
Liaising with clients directly
Occasional ad hoc duties

You:

AAT Qualified/ ACA or ACCA Student
Good working knowledge of FRS105 & FRS102
Knowledge of Xero & Quickbooks beneficial
Previous experience of working in practice is essential
