Part time-Health & Safety Officer

Leicester (LE5), Engineering company, 3 days p/wk

£30-32k (pro rata)+benefits

Our client is seeking a part time H&S officer who is happy to work Mondays and Fridays and an additional day through the week. This position would be ideal for a person who has a career in H&S and love to remain in this area on a part time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all Health & Safety activities on site
• Maintain accurate Health & Safety records
• Conduct Risk assessments and audits
• Develop and implement H&S policies
• Investigate accidents and incidents
• Oversee some environmental safety aspects
• Perform regular safety inspections
• Generate detailed reports on safety performance
• Provide training to all staff
• Make recommendations for improvements
• NEBOSH (ideally or equivalent needed)
