Finance Manager, West London- Part Time- 3 Days p/week
£80- £90kpa plus benefits (pro-rata)

Our client, a thriving unique brand with an excellent reputation has created a new role to support its best-in-class finance function. This role provides a great opportunity to lead and oversee accounting, tax and treasury within the business. This role is critical in ensuring the business is both compliant and optimising against accounting/fiscal principles.

Key Responsibilities
1) Accounting
* Communicating with external auditors and managing the year-end audit process
* Deliver elements of YE audit process and lead statutory reporting process up to signing
* Acting as the main point of contact for any technical accounting questions
* Ad hoc projects and support incl Risk Management

2) Taxation
* Lead the approach to taxation management process (both direct and indirect tax) with an emphasis on the systemised approach to compliance, achievement of planning outcomes, management of risk and an understanding of internal and external influences
* Ownership for corporation tax computations
* Develop and manage relationships with the external tax advisers
* Lead the interactions with the HMRC including managing risk reviews and audit interventions
* Ensure business plans/projects incorporate identified optimised tax opportunities

3) Treasury
* Support in the management of bank relationships and facilities, including covenant reporting, quarterly updates, refinancing, renewals and bank charges

4) Reporting
* Preparing Bank reporting
* Statutory filings

The successful candidate will be fully qualified (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with demonstrable experience inline with the above. Given the part time nature of this role experience of working in a fast-paced environment with strict reporting deadlines is key as is excellent commercial and business awareness.
