A leading firm of chartered accountants based in Sidcup has a requirement for an Accounts Senior to join their accounts team in a position offering increasing responsibility, technical skill development and career progression. This is an exciting opportunity to be an Accounts and Outsourcing Senior in a well-regarded, successful firm of Chartered Accountants. Joining this highly successful team as an Accounts and Outsourcing Senior, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts and bookkeeping for incorporated and unincorporated businesses, including partnerships/ LLPs, sole traders and Ltd company owner-managed businesses. You will also prepare and review the more complicated VAT returns and have ad hoc tax exposure too. Your position will be client-facing with lots of involvement in meetings and building relationships to progress in your accounting career. You will also be exposed to the latest cloud technology where you will get to support your clients from the office but occasionally on site too.

This is a typical general practice working environment with the opportunity to get exposure to an exciting and growing client base.

• Qualified ACA/ACCA with at least 3+ years of general practice experience 
  
• Must be competent in all aspects of accounts and taxation work
  
• Be fully conversant with accounting and tax standards and demonstrate skilled commercial acumen
  
• Ability to prioritise, work on own initiative and meet deadlines
  
• Be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing
  

• £40,000 - circa £48,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
