Our client based in Witham is looking for a Part time Warehouse Operative to join their growing team on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate for this role will have previous warehouse experience, excellent communication skills and good attention to detail.

The Warehouse Operative duties will involve:

• Loading and unloading of freight going through the warehouse
• Notifying Supervisor of any shortages or damages
• Ensuring that the appropriate booking in procedure is adhered to and dims etc are checked and reported back to the relevant department.
• Ensuring that all vehicles are handled in a prompt manner.
• Ensuring all people in the vicinity are wearing Hi-Vis and warehouse staff are wearing safety footwear.
• Ensuring that all freight leaving the warehouse is signed for upon collection.
• Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse

Requirements:

• Forklift Truck Licence
• Counterbalance Licence (min 3000kg)
• Flexibility on hours would be an advantage.
• A DBS check will be required for this position (paid for by the company)

The shift patterns for this role will be working 2.00pm 8.00pm, working 30 hours per week. Weekend over-time available when required - Saturday paid at time & a half.
