About the Role: A prestigious company in the technologies sector, renowned for its innovative approach for industrial applications, is seeking a Finance Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
  • Manage compliance with financial regulations and standards, including Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Coordinate both external and internal audits, acting as the primary liaison.
  • Support the Financial Controller in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
  • Supervise a finance team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement and development.
  • Enhance financial processes and controls to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making across the company.
Requirements:
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with substantial relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated compliance expertise and familiarity with financial reporting standards.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial forecasting models.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data.
  • Experience in financial reporting within a multinational company context.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of working with financial and non-financial personnel.
  • Proactive team player with a flexible approach to work.
Desirable:
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment and understanding of standard costing.
  • Familiarity with VAT return preparation and standard P&L and balance sheet management.
