Overview of the role:

I have partnered with a leading steel market analysis company, specialising in independent researched global steel prices, indices and forecasts.

We are seeking a talented Customer Support and Office Administrator to join the team. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a great team alongside supporting and contributing to all areas of the business. Personal growth and access to training is always available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing full customer service support from answering enquires via email and telephone, managing invoicing and ensuring the upkeep of company records is accurate.
  • Support the customer service supervisor with allocation of incoming payments received to the appropriate account.
  • Activate online accounts, proactively pursue outstanding invoices and perform any other duties surrounding the management of customer subscriptions.
  • Providing essential administrative support where necessary to all areas of the business.
  • Office-related responsibilities including welcoming visitors, managing deliveries, post and assisting with office-related tasks.
  • Arranging yearly PAT testing and other ad-hoc tasks.

Requirements:

  • Proven administrative experience, preferably in an office environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, well organised and desire for accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines.
  • Someone who can work independently and collaboratively within a team and across departments.
  • Able to solve problems and use their own initiative.
