Part Time Finance Manager

Location - Blackburn

Package - £30,000 - £40,000 pro-rata

Hours - 15 - 20 per week

Holidays - 26 plus stats pro-rata

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing SME business based in Blackburn.

The business has been manufacturing, precision engineered, nuts, bolts, and special fasteners for aerospace, automotive, F1, wind turbine and general engineering customers for over 100 years.

Due to the sustained growth over the past 24 months, there is now a need for a Finance Manager on a part-time basis, 15 – 20 hours per week. These hours can be split in anyway that works best for the successful individual. School holidays can also have a different working pattern.

Required experience:

• Qualified to AAT Level 4, or ACCA, or ACA
• Monthly payroll using Brightpay system including factory-based staff with overtime, shift premiums – applying overtime and sick pay rules
• Pension submission
• VAT and PAYE submission
• Preparation of base data for management accounts
• Banking, purchase ledger and sales ledger
• Software package is Xero, but experience of Quickbooks, Sage or ERP based system would be suitable

The client is also willing to support further studies if required.
