Kenton Black are delighted to be working with a reputable accounting firm in Bolton currently looking for a part time Bookkeeper with a full practice background to join their outsourcing division where you will be a key member of a growing team.

You will be joining a forward-thinking firm who have automated many of the mundane tasks, leaving you to develop your skills and provide a valuable service to their clients.

As the Part-Time Bookkeeper your key responsibilities will include:
-Managing your own portfolio of clients
-Bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of sole traders’, partnerships and limited companies which vary across sectors
-Preparation of VAT returns
-Balance sheet reconciliations
-Payroll journals

Person Specification:

To be considered for the role of Part-Time Bookkeeper you will require the following:

-Minimum of 3 years Bookkeeping experience in a public practice setting
-AAT Qualified
-Knowledge of Xero and other cloud accounting software platforms
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Able to effectively manage workflow of multiple clients whilst demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure all deadlines and expectations are met.
-Willing to learn new systems and adapt to changing working practices
-Strong IT skills, particularly with Excel
-Knowledge of CCH and Silverfin – desirable but not essential
