Description

• Lead and develop the financial strategy of the organisation.
• Oversee all financial transactions and accounting operations.
• Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and stakeholders.
• Provide financial insight and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers.
• Lead the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Support the team with ad-hoc financial projects as required.

Profile

A successful Part Time Head of Finance should have:

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• A desire to work part time/3 days/22.5 hours per week
• Previous experience in a similar role within the Not For Profit sector.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory standards.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
