Salary: PO1 £41,435 - £43,369 pro rata inclusive of London weighting

(Actual salary £20,718 - £21,685)

Permanent - Part time 18 hours per week, All year round

About Sir George Monoux College:

Monoux is a Sixth Form College for approximately 1750 students aged 14-19. We offer A Levels, vocational courses at levels 2 and 3, and GCSE resits. We also have a small provision for Year 11 pupils who are recent arrivals to the UK. 76.5% of our students are from deprived backgrounds, compared to 40.3% of 16-19-year olds nationally. Our students make excellent progress from GCSE, and over 90% advance to University or Apprenticeships. The good reputation of the college has led to the growth of our student population.

About the role:

The Health and Safety Manager will ensure that Sir George Monoux College complies with all relevant Health and Safety legislation across all the estate. They will create and implement health and safety policies in accordance with the latest legislation and to ensure that these policies are implemented by management and employees.

To establish, manage and monitor standards, processes, communications, training, and systems to ensure all responsibilities associated with Health and Safety across Sir George Monoux College are adhered to.
