Credit Controller

Simple Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established client, based in Midsomer Norton, who are looking for a Credit Controller to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Job:
Working alongside the wider finance team, you will support the credit control function of the department. As a Credit Controller, you will assist in the monitoring of payments and ensuring the cash cycle is maintained.

Key duties will include:

  • Ensuring the timely receipt of payments from customers
  • Proactively managing debt
  • Reconciling payments received
  • Monitoring debtor balances against agreed payment plans
  • Generating customer statements
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, to include via phone and email
  • Carrying out financial appraisals of customers and reviewing credit limits are required

The Salary:
Dependant on Experience

The Hours:
This is a part-time role, working 30 hours per week. This would ideally be across five days per week, Monday to Friday, but there is flexibility on hours and days for the right candidate.

About You:
You will have previous experience in a similar role, and will be able to work well as part of the wider finance team. As Credit Controller, you will be able to work to a high degree of accuracy and possess a problem-solving approach. You will have strong communication skills and a professional telephone manner, able to build relationships with stakeholders and represent the company with a commitment to customer service.
