Opening spring 2024, our new Hamberley Neurocare home in Basingstoke will provide rehabilitation, recovery, and residential care for people living with complex neurological conditions.

We’re looking for :

  • A qualified Physiotherapist with HCPC registration.
  • Previous experience working within a neuro environment is essential for this role.
  • You'll have experience managing a team and working with other healthcare professionals. 
  • Commitment to make a real difference to the lives of our patients.
  • Have excellent communications skills, a great attitude to teamwork and a desire to lead on patient care.
  • Flexible to work shifts.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for the delivery of Physiotherapy services to all residents who have diverse and complex needs and work as a member of the multidisciplinary Neurocare team.
  • Provide professional leadership in all aspects of Physiotherapy as required by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
  • Implement and evaluate individual treatment and rehabilitation plans liaising with other relevant agencies as appropriate; utilising effective clinical reasoning skills and evidenced based practice to develop individualised care plans.
  • Support with ongoing treatment, monitoring, support and assessment of residents’ physical needs.
  • Lead appropriate therapeutic group sessions and participate in sensory programmes for residents in prolonged disorders of consciousness.
  • Use a range of communication skills to engage effectively with residents and their families. Maintain up to date, concise clinical records and provide reports as necessary for each resident’s case review.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
