Finance Manager (part time role)

Based in Swanley, Kent

Office-based role.

I am working with a successful Infrastructure Services firm who are currently seeking a part time QBE/PQ Finance Manager to lead the finance function as the business looks to grow and diversify their portfolio.

The successful Finance Manager will be the go-to lead for all financial queries, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team and managing all day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, billing control, VAT and payroll function. You will take ownership of the monthly management accounts and work with external auditors to ensure completion and full compliance are met. You will also play a key role in the deliverance of potential new finance systems and assist with the implementation, working with external sources to complete a rollout.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage financial operations efficiently and meet deadlines consistently.
• Oversee the entire accounts system to drive value creation.
• Handle purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control, cash flow forecasts, VAT/CIS returns, and tax compliance.
• Collaborate with management to enhance revenue growth and improve margins.
• Develop financial policies and systems for operational efficiency and risk management.
• Provide insightful analysis and reporting to support decision-making.
• Ensure accuracy in monthly and annual accounts, along with departmental profit reports.
• Implement efficient accounting systems and streamline processes.
• Contribute to organisational development and incorporation of partnerships.
