Temporary Finance Manager, Part-time Hours

Great opportunity to join a charitable organisation within the support sector, for an experienced Finance specialist. Working between 15-20 hours per week with a possibility of some hybrid working, this will be for a minimum period of 6mths, possiblity becoming permanent.

The Role:

The Finance Manager will have responsibility for the day to day financial operations including:

  • Managing the Payroll and Auto-enrolment Pension scheme
  • Manage all Direct Debits and standing orders
  • Invoicing, bank reconciliation, credit control
  • Provide financial reports to the CEO and Trustees on request
  • Update the CEO and Treasurer with financial information
  • Manage petty cash, gift vouchers, financial donations and Gift Aid
  • Ensure contracts with utilities and providers are maintained and competitive
  • Closely monitor the financial situation by way of income & expenditure spreadsheets, bank reconciliation, profit & loss accounting and cash flow forecasts
  • Preparing management accounts and liaison with Accountant for year end books

Skills and Experience Required:

You'll need to possess a recognised accounts qualification such as AAT and have gained experience of an all round finance role including payroll and pensions.

You'll also be skilled in accountancy software packages and Excel with the ability to work on your own initiative.
