Accounts Assistant
Part Time: 22.5 hrs p/w

Your Finance Assistant Role:
As an Accounts Assistant at Parkhaven Trust you will provide a high-quality accounts function dealing particularly with the purchase ledger, payroll and general accounts duties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Purchase ledger
1. Entering and requesting authorisation of purchase ledger invoices
2. Sending purchase ledger remittances
3. Recording utility invoices
Payroll
4. Processing payroll information from managers and forwarding to the payroll provider within strict time frames
5. Responding to any payroll queries
6. Carrying out payroll audits with the finance manager
Cash and Banking
7. Personal and other allowances for service users and homes
8. Banking as and when required
9. Reconciling and posting petty cash to the ledger
10. Reconciling and posting corporate cards to the ledger
11. Assisting in the undertaking of cash audits
12. Reconcile bank accounts
Quarterly management accounts
13. Maintaining Fixed asset register
14. Reconciling the contra accounts and suspense account
15. Preparing prepayments and accruals
General duties
16. Completing TV licences forms
17. Archiving
18. Assisting the finance manager in reviewing supplier pricing across the Trust
19. To undertake general office duties as required
20. To attend and take part in staff meetings as required
21. To comply with Health and Safety Legislation at all times
22. To work flexible as required
23. To undertake any training and development necessary for the effective delivery of your responsibilities
24. To undertake any other duties within the scope of your ability
25. To comply with all reasonable requests of the line manager and carry out any other tasks as reasonably instructed by management
