Legal Cashier
Job Type: Permanent, Part-time (25 – 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday)
Location: Central Cheltenham (with free parking)

Role Responsibilities:
Prompt recording of all financial transactions to maintain accurate office and client ledgers.
Regular performance of bank reconciliations to align the firm’s financial records with bank statements.
Processing of various financial transactions via different methods such as bank transfers and cheques.
Production of daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports to offer insights into cash flow and financial metrics.
Ensuring adherence to industry regulations, including VAT and anti-money laundering laws.
Facilitating smooth financial operations by liaising with clients, estate agents, and other third parties.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Prior experience as a Legal Cashier, ideally within a conveyancing or legal firm.
Solid understanding of financial and accounting principles.
Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, especially Excel.
Exceptional attention to detail and the capacity to maintain precise records.
Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
