Payroll Professional

Join an innovative and dynamic organization that leads the way in the niche manufacturing sector. As a standalone Payroll Manager, you will manage the entire payroll function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency for approximately 300 staff members.
  
As the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end payroll processes for the UK. You will report directly into the Financial Controller and have autonomy over the payroll function. The business operates a Hybrid working model with a mature view on when and where you work, typically the team are in the office Monday and Tuesday. This is a Part-time role working 3 days per week.

  • Manage the entire payroll function for approximately 300 staff members.
  • Handle monthly and hourly payrolls, including shift work and allowances.
  • Process starters and leavers, ensuring accurate and timely payroll adjustments.
  • Manage year-end processes, including P60s and P45s.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements for a UK Payroll.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and provide payroll-related support and guidance.
  
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a senior payroller, preferably in a standalone role. You will have In-depth knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements.

Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy. You will be an effective communicator and comfortable liaising with staff at all levels include Board. Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
