Sellick Partnership are working on behalf of one of the largest Utilities Companies based in Sussex for a Commercial Solicitor to join on a permanent contract.

This is a really exciting time to join the Utility company as it expands its legal services.

As a Commercial Solicitor, your role will entail:

• You will be drafting, reviewing, and negotiating on a range of contracts and procurement matters.
• You will be joining a commercial team of 6 lawyers and will be providing high quality legal advice across a range of different projects and working collaboratively across the legal team and with internal and external stakeholders to include regulatory bodies.
• Undertaking a range of different commercial contracts ranging from standardised contracts such as terms and conditions to higher value-based contracts to include construction / engineering and water treatment works

As a Commercial Lawyer, you will have:

• Be a qualified lawyer (solicitor / barrister / chartered legal executive)
• It would be beneficial to have procurement experience and expertise. However, the team are very happy to train up someone without this experience, as long as they have good working knowledge of commercial contracts
