Flexible opportunity for an experienced Assistant Accountant to work c15 hours across the week supporting the Finance Team

The Company

Seymour John are thrilled to be working exclusively with our client in a trusted partnership to hire a Part Time Assistant Accountant for a well-established business in North Wolverhampton.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Accounts Manager, where you will be responsible for supporting at month end alongside other tasks within this small and friendly team. Your duties will include:

• Assisting with accounts production to TB
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Bank reconciliations
• Journals, accruals and prepayments
• VAT returns
• Processing AP invoices through to payment runs (automated function)

Personal Profile

We are looking to speak to candidates who are well versed in the above duties with a good understanding of excel to include vlookups/pivot tables. You will need to work well as part of a team as you will be playing a pivotal role within the finance team.

Hours: 8.30-5.00 - c15 hours to be worked flexibly to suit
