Audit Director / Partner
TPF Recruitment has been retained exclusively by one of Kent's leading chartered accountancy practices to recruit an Audit Director / Partner. If you possess strong leadership skills, extensive audit experience, and a desire to contribute to the success of a reputable organisation, we'd love to speak to you. This position can be based anywhere in Kent with hybrid working on offer. There is an opportunity to join immediately as a Partner, or as a Director with a progression plan in place.
Our client, a well-established, multi-sited and extremely well-respected chartered accountancy practice in Kent, is known for its commitment to excellence and a client-centric approach. With a collaborative and innovative working environment, the firm offers a platform for professional growth and development. You will join as a Director or Partner, with a clear progression path in place, with the support of an experienced leadership team around you. The portfolio will include a significant proportion of Agricultural clients, so it would be advantageous to have experience in this sector, but this isn't essential.
As an Audit Director / Partner, you will be responsible for:
- Foster the growth of the audit team by engaging in recruitment, mentorship, and professional development within a behaviour-centric framework
- Oversee the execution of audit functions, ensuring compliance with expectations, deadlines, and budgets
- Represent the firm with professionalism at networking events, adeptly exploring new business prospects
- Identify opportunities to enhance the value offered to your client portfolio
- Contribute inventive ideas and actively participate in the comprehensive development of the firm's operations
- Uphold and promote the firm's values within the team, inspiring and motivating team members
- Demonstrate exceptional client-facing communication skills with a professional and personable approach
- Serve as a role model for the team, embodying natural leadership qualities
Requirements - Hold ACA or ACCA qualification
- Desirable to have or be in the process of obtaining RI (Responsible Individual) status
- Managerial background with a motivational and constructive leadership style
- Demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude when operating under pressure
- Committed to providing services of the utmost quality
- Collaborative team player enthusiastic about supporting the broader team
- Possesses strong communication skills, both in written and verbal forms
- Experience with agricultural clients would be advantageous but isn't essential
