Part Time Finance Manager

JHE & Partners are excited to be working with an established, growing business as they look to recruit a Company Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. The role, offering circa 24 hours per week, is a key position within the organisation and will work closely with the Senior Leadership team. The successful candidate will develop systems and processes to help produce accurate and useful MI that will help inform decision making within the business. As part of the Senior Management within the business, the successful candidate must be confident communicating with people at all levels, enjoy a busy role and take pride in developing a first rate finance function.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of accurate and timely management accounts on a monthly basis
  • Working with senior leadership to develop business strategy and produce accurate MI to inform decision making
  • Prepare weekly reporting of KPI's as well as departmental budgets
  • Liaise with external accountants at year end
  • Submission of monthly payroll
  • All day to day bookkeeping including credit control, purchase ledger, sales ledger and banking

Applicants will have experience working in a similar position, ideally within a manufacturing organisation. Experience with Sage 200 is desirable but not essential, however all applicants must be confident with Microsoft Excel. Applicants will either be qualified or qualified by experience.
