Retail Assistant

Location: York Road, Leeds LS9 9AA

Part-time flexible hours- Weekend Work Required

Hourly Rate: Meets National minimum wage - not age-dependent

Our client, based in Leeds specialise in branded men’s fashion in big sizes and are well established in the menswear industry. Due to company growth, they are now looking for an experienced Retail Assistant to join their team.

Responsibilities but not limited to:

As a Retail Assistant, you will:

• Assist customers on the shop floor, providing friendly and helpful service.
• Help to maintain the cleanliness of the shop floor and storeroom areas and, where necessary, advise the manager of any relevant issues and concerns
• Handle cash transactions and operate the till
• Be responsible for the maintenance of stock
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of the items on sale
• Assist with the marketing of the store
• Providing a welcoming environment for both customers and visitors
• Demonstrating and promoting excellent customer service

Requirements:

• Ability to work weekends.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Previous retail experience is desirable
