HR Business Partner

Key responsibilities (but not limited to)

Client engagement: collaborate with the HRD to create and deliver proposal, solutions and ongoing account management that exceeds client expectations and aligns with SYLO's goals

HR services: provide timely, expert support across full range of HR issues, policies and practices; leverages reporting to support data-driven decision making aligned with client goals; integrates best practice appropriately to drive improvements.

Talent Management: drive consistent approach to help clients attract, onboard, manage, develop, reward and retain their people to meet current and future organisational needs.

Culture: partner with clients to understand current and desired culture, identify and implement solutions that drive performance in alignment with client goals, including focus on DEI and Wellbeing.

Change management: initiate, plan and manage the continuous process of change to increase likelihood of change succeeding and delivering desired results.

Leadership: supervise HR Adviser, contribute to internal projects, collaborate and support colleagues, use initiative, innovate.

Partnership: collaborate with Specialist consultants, internal SYLO team and external partners to provide outstanding levels of client service.

Person specification

Qualifications:

Chartered Member CIPD (MCIPD), or equivalent educational achievement (Level 7)

Experience:

  • Relevant HR experience (generalist or specialist) gained in large complex organisation(s) with multiple stakeholders (including matrix relationships) and knowledge or experience of working with SMEs (minimum 8 years)
  • Up to date with employment law knowledge and HR issues and trends
  • Solid experience of operating in a business partner model, working with local managers to create positive business outcomes
  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
