On offer is a unique opportunity to join a highly reputable manufacturer, leading the way in the design and manufacture of industrial electrical equipment, now looking to expand further in specific sectors. They currently turnover over £10 million, with 90 employees, supplying to OEM's and end users throughout Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

This role would suit someone with a good level of Health & Safety experience, from a manufacturing background. You will be in a part time role (hours to be negotiated) responsible for leading health & safety activities onsite, in a blended role - working in the office as well as on the shop floor.

The role:

• Lead health and safety activities - creating and maintaining health and safety records
• Develop safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
• Complete accident investigations, determine root causes and then recommend corrective actions
• Assist with development, and auditing of health and safety systems (including ISO 45001)

The person:

• Experience in Health & Safety
• Background in Manufacturing
