As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled Part-Time Handy Person to join our team and contribute to our success.

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Handy Person to assist with maintenance tasks at our uPVC window fabricating factory on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and operating efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Performing minor repairs and adjustments to machinery as needed
• Liaise with contractors where needed.
• Take control of any queries with facilities management.
• Assisting with general maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, and electrical work
• Handling basic carpentry tasks including repairs to fixtures and structures
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in work areas
• Assisting with the setup and breakdown of equipment for production as required
• Responding promptly to maintenance requests from supervisors or team members.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Handy Person or in a similar maintenance role
• Experience with facilities management would be advantageous.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to work part-time hours, including evenings or weekends if needed.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
