Personal Tax Manager Part Time

My client, a well-established accounting firm near Tunbridge Wells, is seeking a Part-Time Personal Tax Manager to join their team. This position offers flexibility in working hours and a hybrid working model.

The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of personal tax clients, including individuals with complex tax affairs, with a focus on UK individuals and some High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs).

Key Responsibilities will include:

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients, providing expertise in tax planning projects such as capital gains and inheritance tax issues.
• Assisting clients proactively with personal tax forecasts ahead of the tax year end.
• Preparing personal tax returns and P11D's, ensuring compliance with all deadlines.
• Handling HMRC enquiries and correspondence, both compliance and advisory in nature.
• Staying updated with the latest tax legislation and communicate changes to clients.
• Supporting the Director in growing and developing the tax side of the business.

To be considered for this Personal Tax Manager role you will ideally  be CTA qualified and/or ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 4-5 years of post-CTA qualification experience in personal tax preparation and tax planning.
