A successful and fast growing firm of chartered accountants based on the Eastern side of Bristol is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team as a key addition and support to managers and directors with opportunity to carve an influential role within this accounting firm delivering year end accounts and wider services to wide ranging clients, along with reviewing and supporting juniors with excellent career progression potential on offer.

This fast growing, highly successful and forward moving chartered firm of accountants based on the eastern side of Bristol has undergone sustained positive growth and is now planning for the future development of this firm and team. They act for a very wide ranging client base across varied industry sole traders, partnerships, ltd company SMEs and OMBs, larger corporate clients and other clients across wide ranging sectors and sizes up to in excess of £30 million in turnover on larger clients . The Directors are looking for a key addition to work closely with them as key support and there is genuine opportunity to carve a long term, pivotal position within this expanding firm and become an integral part of the firms future success and development with the associated progression on offer. Hybrid working on offer with a minimum of 3 days in the office. The firm utilises IRIS, Xero, Quickbooks and other online accounting software.

Description

Joining as Senior Accountant based from the firms Bristol offices on the eastern side of the city, you will act as key support to the managers and directors undertaking a role focused on both hands on delivery of year end accounts preparation, alongside reviewing, developing client relationships and mentoring a growing team around you, playing a lead role across all these areas. Alongside this you work on wider advisory/business services delivering wider project work with the Directors and you will carve an influential key role within this firm, progressing as a pivotal addition to this growing accounting firm.

Profile

You will hold an ACA/ACCA qualification , or equivalent with a career background and strength within accounts/tax and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery to wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, developed within an accountancy practice firm environment. You will have developed your career to around the Senior Accountant / Manager levels and be looking to take your career to the next level, within a firm and role where you can see a genuine clear progression and development path on offer.

Job Offer
