HR Business Partner (Part-time)

Offering £40,000 - £50,000 Basic Salary (Pro rata) Plus Benefits

Our client is a global distributor of products and services based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. Due to continued growth, they are now recruiting a HR Business Partner to work part-time, 25 - 30 hours per week, office based.

HR Business Partner - Core Responsibilities

  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and administering contracts, and helping resolve work-related issues.
  • Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation. Creating, implementing, and maintaining new HR policies and procedures to support the continued growth of the business.
  • Promote a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork.
  • Engage with and challenge key stakeholders in the business to balance employee wellbeing and the commercial needs.
  • Manage the internal HR System, ensuring it is up to date with accurate employee data and that management tasks are being completed as required.
  • Support management with recruitment activities, from job specification creation, through to interviewing and onto onboarding of new hires.
  • Take the lead on multiple HR projects across the business.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations when needed.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance and training to line managers.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Participate in evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure success.

HR Business Partner - Requirements

  • Experienced HR Generalist, comfortable leading HR function and working within a fast paced environment.
  • A HR degree or CIPD Level 5 or equivalent would be highly desirable.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
  • Excellent people management skills and ability to engage with staff at all levels.
  • Experienced in managing conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
  • Adept at problem-solving and critical thinking.

The HR Business Partner position is offering £40,000 - £50,000 basic salary (pro rata) plus benefits for the successful candidate. This is a part-time, permanent position, working 25-30 hours per week based at our client’s office in Leeds.
