We are working with a small business, who are looking to recruit a Part-time Bookkeeper. The role will be for around 4 hours, twice a week (in the office, during office hours)
The role is varied and includes the below. Systems used Sage Accounts.
· Maintaining Sales, Purchase, and nominal ledger
. Previous experience handling multi-currencies is vital
· Weekly Bank reconciliation
· Monthly Petty Cash reconciliation.
· Process Quarterly VAT returns.
· Running Month End.
· Weekly credit control.
· Monthly P & L
· Preparing & running of Year end accounts
· Liaising with Accountants with yearend accounts.
· Payroll
· Process staff salaries
· Process pension submission online
· Organise payments.
· Chase outstanding payments.
· Online Credit Checks for new customers as required.
· Quarterly Intermediary report.
· Printing statements
· Printing debtor lists
· Checking remittances
· Up to trial balance
· Freight background desirable
Hourly rate/salary based on experience
