We are seeking for an exceptional, dynamic & innovative Registered Nurse to contribute to an effective Outpatients team throughout service to meet the needs of our Client.

Job Purpose:

To co-ordinate outpatient activities at Our Client’s Surgeries by liaising with consultants (and their secretaries and Trusts), radiographers, nurses, schedulers and facilities management.

To work effectively as a member of clinical nursing team to ensure the provision of the highest standard of patient and customer, accepting delegated responsibility for specific activities from Outpatient Manager.

The Registered Nurse key duties and responsibilities will be:

  • To carry out clinical duties in accordance with unit policies and procedures ensuring effective running of clinics, minimising waiting times and auditing to ensure compliance with national standards
  • To carry out dressing changes as per Consultants preference and report and concerns
  • To provide nursing care without supervision, within the level of the post holders experience and competence                                                                                                                                             
  • To undertake phlebotomy in a competent manner
  • To support clinicians in running clinics in a timely manner
  • Ensure relevant clinical skills are adequate and updated in accordance with PREP and that they are developed in accordance with the requirements for the position held. Participate in mandatory staff training and training relevant to departmental role

To work as a Registered Nurse in this unique role you will need:

  • Valid NMC Pin
  • Right to Work in the UK
  • Significant experience in wound care and dressing.
  • A UK Driving Licence is highly advantageous, due to the location and working between two sites
  • Flexibility to cover a range of shifts between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Friday
  • You must have a good standard of English and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
