My client is a prestigious school based in West Sussex.

Due to the beautiful location and facilities of this school, the venue is booked for private functions and bookings at the weekend.

There are sometimes students still at the school during these periods as they are boarders.

We are recruiting for 2 Weekend Clearers / Porters. This is to help with both internal and external areas of the venue.

Due to the location of this school, you must drive.

Main duties include:

• Preparing rooms as necessary for teaching, courses, events or meetings.
• Driving college vehicles around the campus.
• Moving furniture and equipment as required, which may involve moderate heavy lifting.
• Moving bagged general waste and recycling to collection point.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment.
• Ensuring areas are kept secure.

Due to the school environment, you will be required to hold a DBS certificate, Clearline Recruitment will pay for this certification to be carried out for you.

Knowledge of COSHH regulations, Manual Handling regulations and first aid would be desirable, but can also be fully trained.

Must be able to undertake moderately heavy manual handling.
