Administrative Assistant

We are a family run accountancy practice looking to acquire an Administrative Assistant to join our team in Broxbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Director with daily administrative tasks as well as handling incoming calls, emails and inquiries and on boarding new clients.

Main Responsibilities of the role:

  • Provide administrative support to the Director and staff
  • Manage and coordinate the on-boarding of new clients on an electronic portal (Iris OpenSpace) as well as producing Letters of Engagement
  • Handle incoming calls, emails and inquiries
  • Building mailing database

The successful candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working within an accountancy practice
  • Be fully competent answering calls and inputting data into a system
  • Be fully competent on sending and sorting emails which is a vital part of the job role
  • Be computer literate
  • Have good communication & customer service skills, both written and verbal
  • Have enthusiasm and confidence to develop within the job role and integrate themselves within the business
  • Have problem solving skills & the ability to multi task
  • Have good social skills
  • Have Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Have Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Be able to work in a team and independently when required
  • Ability to commute to Broxbourne
