My client is seeking a Head of HR to lead our Human Resources department within a large organisation. This strategic role encompasses organisational change, strategic projects, TUPE, payroll, HRIS, MI, and pension management. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned HR professional with a track record of driving HR initiatives that support business objectives.
Day-to-day of the role:
Lead and oversee the delivery of a comprehensive HR service to the organisation, including all aspects of HR operations and systems.
Drive organisational change initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness within the company.
Manage strategic HR projects, aligning them with business goals and objectives.
Oversee the TUPE process, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions during mergers or acquisitions.
Supervise the payroll function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.
Lead the implementation and optimisation of HR Information Systems (HRIS) to enhance HR analytics and reporting capabilities.
Develop and manage Management Information (MI) systems to support decision-making processes.
Oversee the pension scheme, ensuring it is managed effectively and meets the needs of employees and the organisation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Head of HR or similar leadership role within a large organisation.
Strong knowledge of organisational change, strategic project management, and TUPE.
Experience overseeing payroll, HRIS, MI, and pension management.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Ability to develop and implement HR strategies that support business goals.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Relevant HR qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
