16-24 hours per week, either flexible or contracted

We are looking for a Billing & Credit Control Assistant to join our team at Priority Recruitment as we go through a period of dynamic growth. This is a newly created role caused by our planned move to a new system, so it would give you a real opportunity to set the tone and take ownership of all credit control.  The ledger is very clean and has been well looked after so it's more a case of sending reminder emails and keeping on top of customer relationships as opposed to chasing down the debt!

What would the role entail?
  • You'll raise the sales invoices and credit notes, set up new customers and deal with any questions or issues, so an excellent phone manner and attention detail is absolutely critical for the role.
  • Chasing outstanding payments by telephone, email and on occasion letters.
  • Managing and resolving queries with clients relating to their accounts.
  • Working closely with the recruitment team to maintain an efficient credit control strategy.
  • Flagging accounts that require further action without delay.
  • Raising invoices & credit notes.
  • Providing outstanding customer service.

Who are we looking for?
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Someone interested in a part-time position – would be ideal for someone looking to fit work around personal commitments.
  • Good communication skills - both written and verbal.
  • Good IT skills - Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • 10% of the business is in emerging tech markets and trades internationally.  Whilst experience with crypto payments is by no means essential, a willingness to learn about crypto payments would be preferable.
