Part Time Accounts Assistant required with an opportunity to work from home after training and being comfortable within the role. You will need to be able to travel to Brentford.
24 hours per week
Duties include:
• Liasing with Payroll company each week to send them timesheets and send them new operatives to set up on the system
• Manging invoices - Adding invoices to accounting software, reconciling invoices with bank statements and making invoice payments • Raising invoice queries with suppliers, resolving & agreeing • Processing Quarterly VAT Returns - liaising with our external accountant • Assisting with answering phones, taking messages, filing etc. • Assisting with admin such as updating cost registers, employee training register, tenders register etc.
Candidate should have: • Experience accounting systems such as Sage, Coins, Quickbooks • Strong IT skills in Microsoft products especially Excel • An organised & planned approach to work • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Excellent verbal & written communication abilities
