Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a leading law firm on the recruitment of a Part time Payroll Coordinator to join the business on a permanent basis.

Our client is requiring 15 hours of work per week ideally across 4 days (but can be flexible if needed).

The Role:

Payroll:

  • Assumes full accountability for the precise and punctual preparation of monthly payroll, collaborating closely with our external payroll service provider to ensure seamless operations.
  • Acts as the primary administrator for our payroll system (Elink), adept at generating comprehensive reports and harnessing Excel proficiency for meticulous calculations.
  • Maintains scrupulous record-keeping to facilitate smooth annual audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Executes supplementary pay runs as necessary and guarantees timely provision of payslips for new recruits.

  • Conducts monthly assessments of pension contributions before payroll finalization and ensures prompt submission to providers.
  • Conducts annual reviews to verify pension certification and promptly communicates any changes to staff members.
  • Provides assistance to staff members in understanding pension calculations, offering clear explanations on topics such as salary sacrifice pensions and Additional Voluntary Contributions (AVCs).

Skills required:

  • Strong UK Payroll knowledge.
  • Excel knowledge
