RSR are currently recruiting on behalf of our client based in Birmingham for a Domestic Abuse Support Worker.

This is a permanent, part time role (22.5 hrs pw), offering a pay rate of £11.45 per hour.

Travel is required for this role so full driving license and access to own vehicle is essential.

Main Duties:

• Carry out assessments and co-produce individual support plans
• Completing risk assessments
• Support residents’ applications for Housing Benefit/Universal Credit
• Ensure the progressions / outcomes delivered should be recorded, monitored, reviewed and updated regularly, in a timely manner and in line with contract requirement
• Ensure that the environment of the service user accommodation is well maintained and in adherence with health and safety regulations
• Work with colleagues and co-ordinate activity across the team and with other stakeholders, including attending meetings, to ensure the service is achieving its aims

Essential Requirements:

• Previous experience
• Knowledge of safeguarding
• Confident in holding support sessions, writing evidence work/reports and have the right attitude.
• Able to demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a pressurised environment
• Full driving license and access to vehicle

This role will be subject to DBS check at relevant level and the successful individual will be required to obtain and maintain these clearances.
