£9,190 - £9,497 per annum

Part Time - 15 hours per week

NCHA are looking for a referral coordinator to join our new Mental Health Support Service. This service will enable service users in the community to overcome issues in their daily lives impacting negatively on their mental health and wellbeing.

As referral co-ordinator, some of your key duties and responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Managing our referrals process coordinating all aspects of referrals for the service regarding: enquiries, referral coordination and allocations.
  • Fostering positive partnerships with our health and social care partners
  • Undertake relevant training, ensuring continuous professional development and staying informed about the latest industry knowledge.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but we welcome candidates with relevant experience from other sectors or transferrable skills.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who has the values, knowledge and skills of working within a support role supporting clients with mental health needs and can demonstrate how they use their skills and common sense to support vulnerable individuals. They’ll have a commitment to maintaining the dignity and rights of the individuals and families we work with, with top notch communication skills.

Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but we welcome candidates with relevant experience from other sectors or transferrable skills.

The service operates Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm, however there may be expectation to work some evenings and occasional weekends and bank holidays.
