INSURANCE ACCOUNT HANDLER

We are currently looking for an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler/Broker to join a successful and very friendly Insurance Broker in the Kent area. The role is part time with flexible days/hours worked to fit around other commitments for example the school run! Let us know what hours/days you’d like to work.

We are ideally looking for applicants who ideally have prior experience of working within a broking or underwriting environment dealing with Commercial policies such as packages, property and liability, training will be given in the covers you are not experienced in but a decent knowledge of the Insurance industry is critical, at least personal lines knowledge.

Main duties will include:

  • Supporting the manager and Account Executives in servicing a portfolio of Commercial clients.
  • Taking a role in dealing with existing clients
  • Maintaining renewal diaries and rebroking business at renewal stage to obtain the best terms and ensure high levels of business retention.
  • Processing of renewals, MTAs and checking of policy documentation.
  • The successful applicant will be positive, proactive, have an eye for detail and accuracy and possess excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
