Credit Controller (Fixed Term Contract) | £28,000- £32,000| Blackburn Hybrid + Flexible | Supportive management team | Fantastic working culture | Part-time and Full-time available

Axon Moore have partnered with a fantastic company in Blackburn which has witnessed significant growth in recent years and as such, are seeking an assured Credit Controller to assist the finance function on a Six Month FTC. The business is open to candidates who are looking for either part-time or full-time work.

This role will be well suited to an experienced and personable candidate who possesses exceptional organisational, numerical and computer skills, is able to communicate confidently and is capable of building long-lasting working relationships.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Chasing overdue invoices and payments in a timely manner
• Working closely to resolve customer queries and problematic accounts
• Building positive working relations with key accounts
• Opening new accounts for customers, performing credit checks and terms reviews
• Using initiative to suggest and develop any improvements to current ways of working
• Weekly debtors meeting with team and management
• Working closely with the sales team to resolve disputes and issues that may impact collections

• At least two years’ experience in a similar role

• Excellent attention to detail.
• Well organised and self-motivated with an ability to prioritise and manage own time efficiently and effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
