You will support with day-to-day operations of HR Operational functions and duties, providing clerical administrative support to the HR Operations Manager.
You will gain an understanding of the operational and HR functions as the company moves to a sustained growth period.
This is a part-time position for 3 days a week but may move to full-time as the role and business needs grow.
Responsibilities
Provide administrative support in regard to implementation of the New HR Software
Support with the onboarding process, including issuing of contracts of employment, ensuring all documentation is received, such as CV’s, references, RTW documentation
Working closely with the HR Operations Manager and managers and colleagues throughout the business in relation to any operational requirements and/or HR matters
Support the business and be an advocate of good practice with HR requirements
Undertake ad hoc duties and projects as delegated by the HR Operations Manager
Answering telephone calls and responding to emails, filing, archiving
Monitor and log any absences and sickness data for circa 500 operatives, ensuring information is up to date and liaise with the relevant Contracts/Labour Managers
Creating and maintaining required spreadsheets
Assist Contracts/Labour Managers in the performance review process
Skills, Education and Experience required
Excellent administration and organisation skills
Experience of working within a HR department would be extremely beneficial but not essential
Excellent communication skills
The ability to manage and priorities a very busy demanding workload
The ability to communicate at all levels
Exceptional attention to detail
Confidence to manage complex issues if required
