Accountant required full or part-time, for a boutique Accountancy Practice near Hook, Hampshire. The ideal Accountant is confident and experienced, able to fit into this easy-going but hardworking and friendly team. You'll have the opportunity to work with a wide range of owner-managed businesses and offer consistent, rounded services. A small owner-run practice that boasts good tenure in its employees and is experiencing growth in their portfolio, opening up space for an experienced accountant.

The ideal candidate will come from an Accountancy Practice, will have demonstrable experience undertaking client-facing duties, and offering full business service including Financial and Management accounts, business advice, Tax and VAT services.

Role and Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
• Prepare personal and company tax returns.
• Utilize cloud accounting software, Xero, Quickbooks, and Taxcalc to manage client accounts efficiently.
• Engage directly with clients to address and resolve financial queries and issues.
• Support business development for clients and provide advice
• Work with the broader team where needed to support client portfolio

Your requirements:

• 3-5 years Experience within UK Accountancy Practice
• AAT Qualified or ACCA or ACA Part / Fully Qualified
• Experience using a range of software
• Experience using TaxCalc beneficial
• Keen to learn and develop professional skills
