Data Analyst

Excelcare are a privately owned care provider based in the heart of Bromley, Kent. We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst to join our Digital Transformation Team. Reporting to the Director of Digital Transformation, this role is all about the data and improving the way we work with data and share it with our end users.

In your role as Data Analyst, you will be working on key projects throughout the business, to capture, process and analyse data sets from a variety of sources and develop the visualisation of accurate data ready to share.

As a Data Analyst you can expect:

Up to 45k depending on experience

Hours - 9-5.30pm

5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays

Key responsibilities:

  • Regularly collect and structure data - combining information from different sources
  • Compile data glossary and support continuous data governance improvement
  • Provide support to ensure reporting requirements are met with timely, relevant, triangulated and well analysed data
  • You’ll have an investigative approach, establish trends and look for solutions.
  • Conduct data cleansing and quality audits to validate that the data collected is accurate
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, project systems and processes, including those related to safeguarding, security and legal matters (e.g. GDPR)
  • Prepare meaningful reports and perform other monitoring and evaluation tasks as needed
  • Undertake any other responsibilities that further contribute to Excelcare business plans, as required

About you:

  • Ability to understand and draw data flows, organise and analyse sizable amounts of data, performing required transformations in the query editor.
  • Experience of handling data using data management and statistical package software (such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SQL or similar) and strong IT skills, including use of spreadsheets and presentation software.
  • Working knowledge of DAX
  • Extensive knowledge of working with PowerBi and PowerApps.
  • Experience of working with SharePoint and other products within the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Ability to use data analysis and visualisations to identify and communicate insights
  • Collaborate within teams and contribute to creative problem solving
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills as you will be supporting and working with Teams from our Support Office out into our 31 care homes.
