Support the Domiciliary Care Lead in the day to day running of a comprehensive care and support service including assessing residents' care needs and formulating care packages.
Maintains record and consistently works in line with regulatory bodies - for example but not exclusive to GDPR, CQC, HSE, Local Authority expectations etc.
Support the Lead in ensuring shifts are covered and worked; rota coordination; payroll; timesheets and signing off care certificates.
Act as the 'go-to' for a variety of resident care package related queries including complex care - general customer service.
Build and maintain positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders across and externally to St Monica Trust.
Support care team with care, domestic and laundry duties (complex care, meds, personal care, mobility etc.). Fulfil rostered on-call duties.
Deputise for Dom Care Lead when required.

Essential
Experience of working within a nursing home, hospital, extra care housing of domiciliary care service.
Understanding of the needs of older people, including dementia and complex care needs.
Good level of IT skills (Microsoft packages).
Health and Safety risk assessment and Safeguarding knowledge and experience.
Health and Social Work legislation and CQC requirements.
Care Certificate.
Desirable
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in social care.
Experience of supervising others.
Experience of electronic care planning.
First Aid, food hygiene and Manual Handling
