Assistant Manager - Corporate Tax

Fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Tax professional to join Top Tier Accountancy and Professional Services firm as they invest in their East Midlands practice due to ongoing expansion. If you join this team, you will benefit from working under the direction of very successful senior leaders with a strong track record. This is a role which will enable you to develop professionally both in terms of technical tax capability and relationship building aptitude.

Your new role
Working with a varied client base of entrepreneurial businesses (both owner-managed and PE-backed) and large entities, you will get involved in a variety of tax work. Whilst you will have more of a focus on advisory projects, you will undertake some compliance work to enable your clients to manage their tax liabilities. Due to the dynamic and acquisitive nature of the client base, you will help them to consider the corporate tax implications when restructuring, refinancing, merging, buying and/ or selling their businesses or parts of their businesses. You will manage and develop effective relationships with clients and will work collaboratively with tax specialists within other areas of tax to provide a comprehensive, high-quality service.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this role, you will be ACA/ ACCA/ CTA Qualified with UK Corporate Tax experience. You will have good technical capabilities and will be very able to build effective relationships internally and externally.
