Joining a friendly, small firm of solicitors in the Bognor Regis area, the successful candidate will undertake a range of duties including:
Performing daily banking functions
Reconciling bank accounts
Paying invoices
Paying disbursements for clients
Checking and authorising invoices to clients
Resolving ledger discrepancies
Undertaking general accounts reporting
PAYE Payroll & administration duties
Submissiong of VAT returns
Keeping up to date with Solicitors Accounts Rules and keeping compliance when performing duties
Previous Legal Cashiering experience would be highly beneficial, but not essential. The firm can consider a Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant with strong previous accounting experience. The firm are ideally looking for someone to work between 10-20 hours per week and are flexible regarding how these hours can be spread.
